At St John Fisher Catholic School we aim to use technology and best practice methodology to engage and empower all students to learn, create, collaborate and innovate.
Staff and Students at St John Fisher are passionate about utilising current technologies to enhance learning experiences. Technology is embedded into all Key Learning Areas and is an area that staff continually and consistently access throughout the school day.Â
Information Technology is fully integrated throughout the curriculum using technology to enhance learning. Students are taught basic desktop publishing skills, design slideshows and publications, web navigation and correct use of email. The students have access to digital still and video cameras and a digital microscope for thorough investigations.
Each classroom is equipped with Interactive Whiteboards, desktop computers and each grade has access to a bank of laptops to support classroom learning. Within the Learning Resource Centre (LARC) students experience a rich and engaging learning experience through 1:1 computing.
