The SJF Advisory recognises and values the role the parents and carers play in the education of their children and aims to strengthen the partnership between family, school, parish and the wider community for the benefit of their children’s overall development and learning.
The SJF Advisory Committee’s Purpose is to “Represent the school community by working collaboratively and strategically for the wellbeing and education of the whole child.”

How to Suggest Agenda Items
In our endeavour to collaborate openly with our community, should there be an agenda item you wish to suggest, there are 2 options to ensure items are addressed.
- You may wish to email your item to our Parent Engagement Co-Ordinator (PEC) at kate.benton@dbb.catholic.edu.au You will be contacted upon receipt of your email and prior to the next meeting.
- You may wish to directly contact one of our SJF Advisory Members and request they raise the item at the next meeting.
Communication of Meeting Minutes
Minutes are taken at each Committee meeting and can be viewed on Compass under School Documentation.
Open Discussion Forums
Our SJF Advisory Committee will open the discussion at an open table school community meeting. We welcome feedback and interaction from all SJF parents, friends and parish members. This forum will be held in Term 1.
