Harry Potter has certainly had a big influence on children’s reading over many years and so we are looking forward to highlighting this on the day. We are aware that “Harry” is not really a young child’s book and so we are incorporating the “day of magic” theme into our celebrations.
Children are asked to come dressed as a character from the books or as a magical creature (eg: A fairy, elf, fairy-tale, etc.) We will have a short Assembly at 8.50 in the hall, where we can have a look at all the magical children! Children will take part in activities during the day, experiencing a touch of magic!!
