Indigenous Literacy Day is Wednesday, 5thSeptember. Leading up to this, we would like to support the Indigenous Literacy Foundation – an organisation which aims to improve Literacy and Numeracy for Indigenous children. We are holding a “great book swap” on Wednesday 29th August and ask children to bring in a book they no longer read and which is in good condition. All books will be displayed and for a $1 gold coin donation children can choose another pre-loved book to keep.
